What We Did
After reviewing the previous submissions, we identified that the supporting documentation did not meet the specific format required for that withdrawal category. We prepared a fresh set of supporting materials to the correct standard and submitted a formal written appeal with a covering letter addressing the grounds for reconsideration.
The Outcome
The appeal was accepted within three months of submission. The client received the full withdrawal amount he had originally applied for. He commented that no one had previously explained what was actually missing from his earlier applications.
Lifetime Care Arrangement — Bangsar
The Situation
A couple in their early 70s, both retired civil servants, had never fully organised their combined retirement affairs. They had EPF accounts, separate government pension entitlements, and two adult dependants with differing needs. None of it was coordinated, and neither spouse was certain about survivor entitlements if one of them passed away.
What We Did
We undertook a full review of both accounts and pension entitlements, identified a minor shortfall in pension payments from one employer, and prepared complete survivor pension documentation for both spouses. A consolidated household file was organised covering all schemes and relevant correspondence.
The Outcome
The pension shortfall was rectified with back-payments confirmed. Both spouses now have clear documentation of survivor entitlements. The household file is with their eldest child as a reference record. The couple described the process as removing a weight they had been carrying for years.

The Situation
